In a world that has returned to another ice age, the prime mode of transportation is the megafauna who once again roam the earth. The people of the frozen wasteland ride atop the backs of giant sabretooth tigers, woolly rhinoceroses and any other giant animal they can tame. The only animal deemed too wild to ride is the Woolly Mamouth. Ice Rage is the story of the first Mammoth rider, a young girl named Uki, her Mammoth Yuka and her mentor Tulok.​
